Bin Aman Plastic Industries factory, located at industrial area of small and medium industries was officially inaugurated Under the Patronage of Sheikh Saud bin Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani with A total investment of 15 million Qatari riyals.
The factory produces multi-use plastic and Sheets, which are particularly used in the construction sector along with many added value industries, having a production capacity of 4,000 tons per year in the initial stages.
General Manager Mr. Faraj Moftah Aman Al Hamad “ the factory is working on attracting modern and sophisticated technology in all kinds of plastic industry, opening the prospect of new investment to enter the Gulf and Arab market.”
He Added “The factory is one of the first factories in Qatar that manufactures a specialized Plastic because of the high quality of the raw materials (Polyethylene) that is manufactured by Qapco “
For his part, Executive Director of the factory Mr. Rami Qasrawi said, “The opening of Bin Aman Industries Factory is another achievement added to Qatar national industries “and added “A factory of this kind and scale would attract more specialized, large scale companies to Qatar,”
He also noted that “only 20% of all planned project size has been accomplished
And it will be completed it within the three coming years to reach the full production capacity to 10,000 tons per year”
Mahmoud Marei Sales and Marketing Manager said “the idea of the establishment of the factory came to add a link to the construction field as we will fulfill the needs of the local market as a first step and will focus our endeavors to open new prospects to enter the GCC market and the Arab world. We will develop a plan that fits the size of our production capacity on the first phase to have a proper product positioning, we will develop the production lines in the near future, which will also represent an important step and opportunity to market the product (Made in Qatar) in the global markets.
